worry

My grandmother-in-law posted this on her blog and I think I should try to heed it's advice right now.

"For every problem under the sun,
There is a remedy or there is none;
If there be one, hurry and find it,
If there be none, never mind it."

"Worry is like a rocking chair, it gives you something
to do, but doesn't get you anywhere."

Dear Brittney,
I'm working on not worringy,also. Years ago a friend showed me a box of little notes about things she has turned over to God. She was a single mother with three children, really struggling, and unemployed.
She said, "Everything I can do something about, I do it, but those things I cannot do anything about, I write down on a little note and turn over to God. In the last year, He has taken care of almost everything in my box."

Wow those are some great sayings! I also think Grandma Pat's story is cool too. I need to worry a little less often as well.
