I recently celebrated my 30Th birthday and I still don't feel like I am as old as I am. I remember when I was little thinking that 30 was old, now that I am 30 I don't feel old but I still have it in my head that 30 is old. I feel like I have to grow up now.
I got a new bike for my birthday because I want to lose weight and I feel like an easy way to do that would be to start riding a bike to work everyday, I only have a few months left before the weather will make it difficult but a few months is plenty of time for me to lose 30 or so pounds, right? I did a test run after church today and it took me 14 minutes to get there, not bad because I expected it to take 30, I hope to get to a point where I can do it in 8 minutes, maybe after 30 pounds of fat are gone I will be able to, anyway here are some pics of my pretty new bike.

That bike looks nice! I'm jealous because I really want a new one too! I've been using the one Scott's brother took on his mission 10 years ago, and its pretty beat up. Plus the seat kills me. Your seat looks nice and comfy!
Happy 30th!
That sure is a purty bike Britteny! We need to do our bike ride now. After I spoke to you last night I rode mine over to Kim's. I thought the skywalk over Bangeter was gonna kill me! I laughed the whole way there. Then again that's because if your old then I'm ancient. At least that's how I feel:)Be safe and enjoy your new ride!
Way to go Britt, You don't look 30,
I hope you enjoy riding your bike to work everyday. Is it up hill or downhill. It would be great if you could go downhill at the end of the day, cause that would make it easier.
that is funny mom it is downhill on the way home and I thought that same thing, at least after 12 hours of working the ride home is all downhill. Chelle my seat is super comfy, I know my butt would have been killing me without that seat. Anngee I don't think I could have done that skywalk on the way up, those things seem pretty steep .
I agree with you that 30 is old. When did we all grow up?
